5th Annual Bike Ride for Survivors Brings Community Together for a Cause
The 5th Annual District Attorney’s Bike Ride for Survivors, hosted by the Expose Excellence Youth Foundation and the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, took place on Saturday, October 18th at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land. This year’s event brought together over 160 riders and dozens of volunteers, uniting the community in support of survivors of violent crime.
Riders took on 20-, 40-, and 55-mile routes, all fully escorted by law enforcement to ensure a safe and seamless experience. The event also featured a 1K Youth Color Run, where families, children, and community members came together in a fun and colorful show of solidarity.
Funds raised from the Bike Ride for Survivors help provide grants to local nonprofit organizations that serve survivors of violent crime and support youth enrichment programs across Fort Bend County through the Expose Excellence Youth Foundation.
From the early-morning volunteers to the cyclists who pushed through every mile, this event reflected the heart of Fort Bend County — a community dedicated to service, compassion, and resilience.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this year’s ride possible and look forward to continuing the tradition next year as we ride for hope, healing, and unity.
