It has been a great year for the Expose Excellence Youth Program. 2025 may be coming to a close, but EEYP still has much to share!

We hosted our inaugural Hispanic Heritage celebration, celebrated the expansion of the EEYP Leadership Program in four schools, and hosted our 4th annual holiday fundraiser, Frosty Fest. EEYP grew and collaborated with several organizations, like DAYA and Street Grace, to better serve youth in Fort Bend County.

EEYP also attended school events around Fort Bend County to share information on scholarships, volunteer opportunities, and upcoming activities. Overall, we exceeded all of the goals set for the year!

Keep reading to see everything EEYP did this Fall and Winter!

Youth Spotlight

Joselyn and Ja’lynn are recent graduates of the EEYP Leadership Program at Marshall High School. They also volunteered at the DA Bike Ride for Survivors and Frosty Fest holiday fundraiser. They lead by example and have been fantastic volunteers!

“EEYP helped me learn some skills that are useful like communication.” - Joselyn

Both students are leaders in their schools and continue to take part in extracurricular activities.

EEYP Leadership Programs

EEYP spent 8 weeks in four schools and celebrated the completion of the Fall 2025 leadership program by inviting guests to meet the students. Students had a chance to meet professionals in career fields they are interested in, and ask questions. We had over 50 students in the EEYP Leadership Program this Fall and are excited to continue the programs in Spring 2026.

DA Bike Ride for Survivors

EEYP and the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office hosted the 5th annual DA Bike Ride for Survivors where all proceeds go to organizations that serve survivors of crime and youth. Over 160 riders came out in support of survivors. There was also a 1k color run where families could participate in.

DAYA Workshop

SAT Boot Camp

EEYP hosted 2 SAT Boot Camp tutorials this Fall. Students received a free tutorial session from a professional tutor to help them prepare for the exam. Good luck to all students taking the SAT this year!

Youth Leadership Academy and The REALity Project

EEYP, in partnership with Street Grace and Creatopia, hosted a 3 session program that empowers students to develop essential leadership skills while engaging in a meaningful community impact project. Students strengthened their leadership characteristics and used their voices to educate and inspire change.

December

Christmas Cheers: Frosty Fest

Our 4th annual holiday fundraiser, Frosty Fest, was held on Saturday, December 13th. There were many activities for families to take part in. There was a hot cocoa station sponsored by Varghese Summersett, candy station sponsored by Hadi Law Firm, cookie station sponsored by Dibrell & Associates, craft and art stations, and even a hay ride thanks to Stuart Ranch! The celebration opened with 2 EEYP student performers, Serena and Ashton. After that, there were musical and dance performances by students from Harmony School of Excellence Sugar Land. All proceeds from the giving tree and silent auction go towards youth programming for 2026. Thank you to everyone who attended the event!

2025 may be over, however, the Expose Excellence Youth Program is still working on creating a safe space for youth interaction and artistic expression. EEYP will return in 2026 with more educational opportunities.
