Buckets & Badges Brings Community Together Through Competition and Connection

The Winners: FSFD and Family

The Expose Excellence Youth Program proudly hosted its Buckets & Badges 3-on-3 basketball tournament, bringing together law enforcement agencies, first responders, and community partners from across Fort Bend County for a day of friendly competition and meaningful connection.

From the first tip-off to the final buzzer, the event was filled with energy, teamwork, and community spirit. Buckets & Badges continues to serve as a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships between youth, law enforcement, and the broader community in a positive and engaging environment.

Several teams took the court in support of EEYP, including Missouri City Police Department, Fulshear Simonton Fire Department, Fort Bend County Precinct 2, Fort Bend County Precinct 4, Stafford Police Department, the Justice League from the District Attorney’s Office, and Hoop Therapy. Each team brought enthusiasm and sportsmanship, contributing to an exciting and competitive tournament.

The final round featured a matchup between the Fulshear Simonton Fire Department and the Fort Bend County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. After a competitive game, the Fulshear Simonton Fire Department secured the championship title, closing out the tournament on a high note.

This event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, including OCUSOFT, Kash Media, Whataburger, Lazy Dog Richmond, and Nuun Hydration. Their contributions helped create an enjoyable and successful experience for all involved.

Buckets & Badges is more than just a basketball tournament. It reflects EEYP’s mission to provide meaningful opportunities for youth while fostering positive relationships within the community. Through events like this, EEYP continues to create spaces where connection, mentorship, and engagement thrive.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participating teams, sponsors, and supporters who made this event a success. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another exciting tournament.
